Photography

I have been a fine art and sometimes commercial photographer for more than 25 years. Sampling and making connections through time and space are common themes throughout my work. As a neurodivergent person, my brain naturally makes visual and thematic links between ideas, places, images that others may not observe. I use photography as a way to solidify these correlations and make sense of the world as I experience it.

As someone living deeply in both the scientific and art worlds, I also like to use my unique perspective to challenge assumptions of these disciplines; for example, I use scientific methods to create artworks that question the objectivity of scientific data and the subjectivity of creative works.
