In the Field
I worked for many years as a veterinarian and research scientist in various locations in Africa. There are plenty of nature and science programs and articles that depict the dispassionate scientific nature of this kind of work; I have instead been most interested in portraying the emotional aspects and the sometimes sheer weirdness of fieldwork.
