Travel Stickers

Standard & Strange is a menswear shop in Oakland, CA and Santa Fe, NM. The shop works with several artisans and small manufacturers around the world, primarily in Japan. Before each group trip to Japan to visit vendors, the shop commissions a set of stickers. Each set has a theme, which is often irreverent and based on jokes and lore between the shop and its vendors. NOTE - many of these are NSFW!

This design is based off of the popular Suntory Torys Highball can, using one of the shop employees (Mari) as the can mascot and namesake. I deliberately drew this in shaky-hand style to reference the end point of drinking several cocktails-in-a-can.
While this design uses a crude joke, I used Japanese baseball team logo styles to influence the overall look and feel of the final product.
